Social Striders Run Club Waiver and Code of Conduct Agreement

1. Acknowledgment of Risk and Liability Waiver

By signing this waiver, I acknowledge that running and participating in events with Social Striders involves inherent risks, including but not limited to falls, collisions, and environmental hazards. I fully accept and assume all risks associated with participation and agree that I am responsible for my own health, safety, and well-being. I understand that Social Striders, its organisers, volunteers, and affiliates are not liable for any injuries, accidents, or damages that may occur during club activities.

2. Medical Fitness

I confirm that I am physically fit to participate in running activities and will consult with a healthcare professional if necessary. I will inform the club if I have any pre-existing medical conditions that may affect my participation.

3. Code of Conduct

Social Striders is committed to fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment. By signing this waiver, I agree to conduct myself appropriately and respectfully toward fellow participants, volunteers, and the general public during club activities. Any behaviour deemed inappropriate, disrespectful, or harmful, including but not limited to harassment, abuse, or dangerous conduct, may result in immediate removal and a permanent ban from Social Striders at the discretion of the organisers.

4. Photo and Media Release

I grant Social Striders permission to use any photographs, videos, or media taken during club events for promotional purposes, including on social media platforms.

5. Consent and Agreement

By typing my name below, I confirm that I have read, understood, and agree to the terms of this waiver and code of conduct. I acknowledge that I am voluntarily participating in Social Striders activities at my own risk.

Additionally, by signing my name, I consent to being added to the Social Striders database and receiving marketing emails. I understand that I can unsubscribe at any time.
